Serving Solana Beach

A veneer case and a filler treatment planned by two different offices, in two different chairs, rarely account for each other. One provider designs a smile, another adjusts volume in the midface, and nobody steps back to see how the two decisions interact. We built our studio to close that gap — cosmetic dentistry and medical aesthetics in one place, planned together — and Solana Beach patients are among the people we see most often for exactly that reason.
We treat Solana Beach as part of our everyday community, not an outlying market. Our patients here come to us for everything from a single whitening appointment before a wedding to a full smile makeover planned over several months, and the through-line is the same: we look at the whole face before we touch the teeth.
That philosophy came from our founders. Sarah Garces, NP-C, spent years building an aesthetic practice around restraint and artistry rather than quick, transactional treatments. Darian Anderson, DDS, saw patients leave with beautiful dental work and wondered whether the result would have been stronger if facial aesthetics had been planned alongside it. Rather than keep sending people between offices, they built one studio with two specialties and one coordinated plan. Monica Kieu, D.O., FACS serves as our Medical Director.
For Solana Beach residents, the practical benefit is fewer appointments spent repeating your goals to different providers. You explain what you want once, and the plan accounts for it.
Our dental side covers cosmetic dentistry in depth: smile makeovers, Digital Smile Design, porcelain veneers, composite veneers, in-office teeth whitening, take-home whitening kits, and clear aligners. For patients missing teeth or facing failing dentition, we offer All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implants along with bone grafting when the jaw needs additional support before implant placement.
Our office also spans a wide range of dental disciplines, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine, orthodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology and radiology, orofacial pain, prosthodontics, and dental public health. That breadth matters when a case turns out to be more complicated than it first appeared.
On the aesthetics side, we provide neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and microneedling. These are planned in concert with dental work rather than layered on afterward, which is the entire point of having both under one roof.
- Digital Smile Design lets you preview proposed changes before treatment begins
- Whitening is available both in-office and as a take-home option, depending on your timeline
- Clear aligners for patients who want alignment addressed before or instead of veneers
- All-on-4 and All-on-6 implants, with bone grafting available when needed
- Facial balancing with neurotoxins and fillers, coordinated with your smile plan
Why Solana Beach Families Choose Us
The most common thing we hear from Solana Beach patients is that they've had good dental work done before, but never felt like anyone was looking at the bigger picture. Someone gets veneers in one city, neurotoxins somewhere else, and fillers at a third location — and the pieces never quite fit together.
We also hear from families who simply want a dentist who takes time. Because we're a fee-for-service practice, we're not structured around volume. Appointments are built around conversation first: what bothers you, what you've tried, what you actually want your smile to look like. For parents, that often means bringing more than one family member to the same office and keeping care consistent over the years.
Insurance, Financing, and What Care Costs
We're an out-of-network, fee-for-service office and we do not take insurance. We're direct about this upfront because it changes how you plan. Some patients with out-of-network benefits choose to submit claims on their own; that's between you and your plan.
We welcome self-pay and cash patients, and we offer financing through Cherry for those who'd rather spread treatment out over time. Cosmetic work in particular is often phased — whitening now, veneers later, aligners in between — and financing gives Solana Beach patients room to sequence care in a way that fits their budget instead of postponing everything.
How to Get Started
Start with our complimentary consultation. There's no cost and no obligation, and it's the right first step whether you know exactly what you want or only know something feels off.
During that visit we'll listen, examine, and talk through realistic options — including the option to do less than you expected. If Digital Smile Design makes sense for your case, we'll explain how previewing your result works before any irreversible steps. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's involved, what sequence we'd recommend, and what it would cost.
Reach out to our office to schedule your consultation, and let us know you're coming from Solana Beach.
